Theory of a Deadman
When: February 10, 2015
Where: Maplewood, MN - Myth Nightclub
I have a varied taste in music, but my husband is a rock guy all the way -- Theory of a Deadman is one band we discovered early on that we both like! So this was a really fun opportunity for us. The tickets for this concert were relatively cheap, so we splurged on the VIP meet-and-greet passes as well, and I am happy we did! We attended this show with another couple also and we all had a great time. Before the concert we did our meet-and-greet with the band; we each got a poster signed, and received an album of our choice on vinyl (which the guys kindly signed as well). Then we got to take photos with the band. All of the guys were really nice!
The concert was very good! The first opening act was Stars In Stereo, who I had never heard of but they were pretty good. Then Theory of a Deadman performed about 9 songs and they were great! They played lots of my favorite hits, and I wish they could have done a lot more! Finally Bush did their headlining set and played nearly 20 songs! I'm not a huge fan of theirs but I do love lead singer Gavin Rossdale and he sounds amazing live.
